This planting was held near the Dream Park and Shelter area at Winnequah Park, Monona, Wisconsin. It’s the neighborhood where Joe grew up, and he is pictured here with friends of his from high school, who were instrumental in making the planting possible.
Several elected officials were in attendance, as well as many members of Joe’s family, and kids who were playing in the park, who came by to plant their wishes.
