Since we returned from our 50-state native tree planting tour in November 2011, we’ve been solidly “grounded” on our home island of Maui, working in collaboration with may local companies, organizations and individuals to engage volunteers in land stewardship and native tree planting activities.
We have now shaped our activities into several new program areas, as we prepare to establish our nonprofit status as a Maui community organization.
Please check out our Programs page to learn more. Many of the activities may sound familiar to you – because we’ve been engaged in them for some time – but you may also notice we’ve organized our focus into the areas of tree adoptions, native ecosystem restoration on agricultural land, and planting trees in Maui’s more “urban” areas, like Kahului and Kihei.
We welcome your support and hope that you will check our new Events calendar for ways to engage!
