Enjoy this short update from Sara and Joe as they make their way from Oklahoma City, OK to the Four Corners Monument on the Plant a Wish tour. Click here to make a donation.
Most recently they planted a sapling of the Survivor Tree with the Oklahoma City National Memorial and 75 students from Taft Middle School on the 16th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing. You can bet there were a LOT of wishes!
Next up, Sara and Joe head to the Four Corners Monument to plant native trees, shrubs, and grasses in four states in one day as a part of a special Earth Day event. (Fun fact: This Earth Day, April 22nd is the 1-year anniversary of the Plant a Wish launch! This year on Earth Day, Plant a Wish will have held native tree planting events in 41 states!) Click here to download the Navajo Nation Parks & Recreations’s flyer. Special thanks to Al Schneider of the Four Corners Native Plant Society for making this special day possible.
