Wisconsin Tree Planting a Huge Success!

May 31, 2010 By spectekula 1 Comment

SaraJoeMononaTreeWe are happy to report that today’s planting at Winnequah Park was a glorious success.

Gorgeous weather, a great turnout, a strong presence from Joe’s family, and a lovely Northern Red Oak all provided us with a wonderful start for our mainland tour. The footage we collected today is beautiful, and we were able to do in-depth interviews with Joe, his parents and brother. We couldn’t be happier!

Special thanks to Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk for coming out on a very busy day!

Click on the Wisconsin page for all of the details, including GPS coordinates.
